Calcium Nitrate flakes
Characteristics:
Calcium nitrate is a two-component fertilizer in the form of flakes. It is characterized by a high content of nitrogen (N) of 15.2% and calcium (CaO) of 27.5% which are quickly available for plants. Thanks to a patented production process, it has unique properties. The fertilizer is fully soluble in water, without any impurities or dust. The flake form guarantees product stability. Calcium nitrate is an excellent source of the above-mentioned ingredients for application to soil, in fertigation and hydroponic systems. It is also recommended for foliar application.
Calcium nitrate allows for quick and efficient fertilization of plants with key nutrients. Nitrogen, as the main building block of proteins, is a powerful yield-enhancing nutrient. Calcium is a structural component, building block of cell walls, often in short supply, which reduces the mechanical resistance and worsens the health condition of plants. The fertilizer allows for quick replenishment of calcium deficiency and eliminates physiological diseases resulting from such deficiency (bitter pit, water core, blossom end rot). It facilitates uniform ripening and fruit firmness as well as increases the storability and resistance to transport of fruit and vegetables. High concentration of nutrients in the fertiliser makes it possible to meet the needs of even the most demanding plants. In case of nutrient deficiencies it allows for their quick supplementation. It is recommended for preventive and emergency fertilisation of all crops.
